Apophysis is a fractal design program providing all of the popular math-
ematical algorithms with previews and image output functionality all from
within one easily navigated user interface and at an astounding price of
free.
You had better have a fairly fast CPU for this application as the Mandelbrot
fractal algorithm and a few others are rather intense processing activities.
I like to tinker with this tool everytime I need a break from my other graphics
applications and in that vein it had a short learning curve...so get it and
enjoy!
